Jocelyn Evans, PhD, is the author of Soomo’s best-selling webtext, Central Ideas in American Government, and the editor of the Civics Reader webtext. She‘s a Professor of Political Science and the Director of the Kugelman Honors Program at the University of West Florida. Her current research focuses on the social meaning of civic space.
